Client portal: let customers see posture without your console
Not every client stakeholder needs an analyst seat. The Client Portal exposes curated, read-only posture views: scheduled reports, compliance summary tiles, open remediation items, and optional browsing summaries — under MSP white-label branding.
Route: Settings → Client Portal · Support wiki → Client portal
What clients typically see
• Executive dashboard — Owner, CFO
• Published reports — IT manager
• Open POA&M — Remediation owner
• Compliance % — Auditor (read-only link)
What stays MSP-internal
• Threat Center full queue
• Raw browsing session detail (configurable)
• Cross-client MSP rollups
• Integration credentials
Portal scope is per client org — no neighbor tenant leakage.
Enablement checklist
1. Configure white-label logo and colors
2. Select portal modules to expose
3. Invite client users with portal role (email invite)
4. Publish first scheduled report to portal archive
5. QBR walkthrough live on portal URL
Sales angle
“You get 24/7 visibility into posture and compliance progress — we retain operational control and PSA workflow.”
Differentiates from EDR vendor portals that show only their product silo.
Security posture
• Separate auth from MSP analyst accounts
• MFA recommended (Entra SSO when configured)
• Session timeout per platform defaults
